Brooke’s Mill is a Heritage Office Park - home to an array of different businesses ranging from Creative Media and Arts organisations to Design and Print companies to Financial, Healthcare and Support Services. It also houses probably the largest independent Film Studios in the North and an Art Gallery and Café.
Unusually the restoration and renaissance of the former woolmills near Huddersfield has been carried out by the founding Brooke family, who had been manufacturing cloth in this valley since 1541.
Since the closure of textile manufacturing in 1987, this hive of enterprising new businesses have grown up to replace the historic cloth making trade. New skills are being learnt and put to use to weave a different future for these Mills.
